Random Access Memory (RAM) chips are easily stolen
and corporations have had no way of
dealing with the theft of these chips until Ram-Check was created by Bill Haynes. This software can
easily be installed on notebook computers and desktop computers. Once installed the software
can be used to monitor the theft of RAM chips over a computer network. It can be configured to operate
behind the scenes and without the knowledge of the computer user. This makes it the ideal tool to use
when employee thefts are involved. Unfortunately, employee theft of computer components is common in
corporations and government agencies. The software is for use on DOS and Windows based computers.
